They are used at places were continuity of supply is necessary for switching to an alternative source of supply from main supply& vice-versa.
FUSE BASE are available in different rating of amp.

CONSTRUCTION
VEECO FUSE BASE are made of- Main body are molded from high grade flame retardant, non-hygroscopic black Phenolic compound. Also available in D.M.C. Molding for better electrical insulation and high impact strength.
- Simple construction with minimum no. of parts for simplicity and reliable operation.
- All rating are fitted with high pressure metal backing stirrups resulting in low temperature rise.
- suitable for HRC Blade fuse link
- Lyre shaped silver plated copper contacts for minimum contact resistance and low temperature rise.
- Fitted with high quality spring/circlips for proper contact pressure.
- All the current non-ferrous parts are silver plated to ensure better conductivity & to prevent oxidation.
