CONSTRUCTION
VEECO L.T. Control Switches are made of- Classified as motor duty switches of AC-3 category ref. as per IS 4064-78.
- Ideal for direct switching and control of 3 phase AC motors.
- Suitable for reliable and safe starting of 3 phase AC motors even under heavy starting current and locked rotor conditions.
- Moulded handle can be fixed in any of 16 different positions to suits mounting requirements.
- Uniform switching packets are assembled to form a stack. This simplicity in design ensures trouble free service in most adverse conditions.
- 32 A control switch terminals can accept 4 sq. mm cable and 63 A can accept conductor sizes from 6 to 16 sq. mm or 25 sq. mm in case of flat bar connection.
- Long Electrical and Mechanical life of 5 million switching cycles.
- Switches are suitable for frequency of operation up to 200 switching cycles per hour.
- Available in standard designs load break, reversing, star delta, On- Off, change over etc. as well as programmable switches to suit any switching sequence. Can be supplied in open execution and with sheet steel powder coated enclosures.
- Due to their versatile design these switches find a variety of applications in various industries viz. machine tools, material handling equipments, transformers and electrical control gears, textile machinery, steel mills etc.
