VEECO plug and sockets are specially designed for heavy duty industrial applications. These are rugged in design and suitable for any adverse environment. The housing of plug and sockets are die casted from non-corroding Aluminium alloy for better strength. The interiors of the sockets are moulded out of high grade, flame retardant, non-hygroscopic D.M.C. material for better mechanical & electrical properties. These are also available in powder coated sheet steel enclosure. Due to its rugged design it is suitable for wide variety of domestic, commercial & industrial applications such as portable machines, hand power tools, modern office power equipments, air conditioner, refrigerators, industrial oven, portable welding sets, geysers etc.

CONSTRUCTION
VEECO plugs and sockets- Designed to prevent accidental human contact with plug pins while inserting or taking out the plug.
- Non-reversing design ensures that plug can be inserted in one direction only.
- Push on protective cap to prevent dust and water ingress when the socket is not in use.
- Epoxy powder coating on plug, sockets and enclosure surfaces provides better finish and longer life.
- Provided with deeply recessed phosphor bronze contacts in sockets for complete safety.
- Provided with a scrapping earth connection which makes before and breaks after the main live circuits connections.
- At the entry of the plug rubber cable guard provides protection of incoming flexible cable.
- Facility of self adjustment of bronze contacts of the sockets ensures easy removal for wiring.
